Hello again. I know it’s been a while since I posted something on my little blog about nothing. There are a couple of reasons why: (1) I don’t know what to write, (2) I don’t spend much time on the computer (mostly because my husband, Joey, seems to be on it all the time) and (3) who reads my blog anyway? Just kidding. I appreciate those of you that visit my site. Thank you.

April Update: On April 20th I turned 23. It was a very good birthday. Joey bought me roses, took me to dinner and a movie. It was a nice night out. Spring semester ended as well. It was a great feeling to know that I was taking my very last final for my Bachelor’s degree (even though I will be starting Graduate School in August). I finally have a college degree!

May Update: I graduated May 5th with a Bachelor of Science in Speech & Hearing Science from the University of Utah. I am very glad I participated in the graduation ceremony. A couple of my friends decided they didn’t want to walk and I think they missed out. Sure it was long and boring but it was a good ending to my undergraduate career.

Now that I don’t have school to worry about I am going crazy. I don’t know what to do with my time (when I’m not working, cleaning the apartment, doing laundry or cooking). If I could go shopping every day I would but that’s just not feasible—so I have had to find other things to occupy my time. Joey brought home his old Super Nintendo from his parents’ house so I have started playing Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island. I am not very good and it tends to stress me out (when I keep dying or can’t pass a board) so I mostly end up watching Joey play.

Another thing I have been doing is trying new recipes once or twice a week. I have found some pretty good recipes that are easy to make. I just hope I don’t go over our grocery budget this summer with all the ingredients I need to make these recipes. Maybe I will post a few that I really like. Anyway, stay tuned…you might see posts more often (but don’t hold your breath).
