On Monday I went to grocery shopping while Joey watched E and I was in the store ~10 minutes when I got a text from Joey that said “He rolled over”. I was sad I missed it but he videotaped him rolling over a couple more times so I could see it

I have yet to witness him rolling over in person. He’s almost done it quite a few times but I guess I will have to be patient. What a stinker!

I can’t believe E is six months old already! Here are his Six month stats:

Height: 25.5″ (19%) (41% corrected)
Weight: 14lbs 9oz (7%) (19% corrected)
Head: 43.0cm (30%) (47% corrected)

Some new things he’s been doing:

• Sitting up better (still needs help)
• Likes to stand up with help
• Loves to put everything in his mouth
• Will reach for things he wants
• “Pets” the cats when they walk by
• Can put his thumb in his mouth with better success
• Opens his mouth and dives for your face. Especially when you say “Kisses”
• Drinks from an open cup (with help of course)

At the end of our visit E got 4 shots. He screamed while they were giving them to him but was fine quickly after. Joey got a Flu shot too so now Joey and E have matching band-aids.

Six months has gone by fast. I guess I should start planning his 1st birthday party since it will be here before I know it!

I think  I can say the cats have fully adjusted to having E around. They no longer run away when he’s screaming and they actually will let E “pet” them.

Lately though, they have kept us entertained. The other night when Joey was folding E’s clothes, Pumpkin decided to jump in the dryer which she has never done before. Too funny. Then Coco decided to check it out but was to scared to jump in. Here is a video Joey took:

Then last night, Coco walked past the automatic soap dispenser in Joey’s bathroom and got soap all over her tail. Luckily Joey and I were both standing there and Joey held her down while I rinsed her tail off. That was not fun. When we finally let her down, she didn’t know what to think of her tail and I hurried and got the camera so Joey could get a video.

After several minutes, she finally laid down. Maybe because she was so dizzy? Haha.

Christmas day we went over to Grandma O’s and Opa’s house to celebrate Christmas. Aunt Kathlene and Aunt Christene were there too. E got some fun toys and books. I’m not sure if he knew what to think about all the presents I handed him. It was fun to see him try to rip the wrapping paper off (to put in his mouth of course).

E was spoiled again! Thank you Aunt Kathlene, Aunt Christene, Grandma and Opa. We love you!

We celebrated Christmas with Grandma Day and Grandfather early since they went to Montana for Christmas this year.

E loved to eat the wrapping paper and had a lot of fun in his new exersaucer that Grandma bought him:
