E is walking all over the place. He thinks he needs to hold on to something like our hands or furniture but when he found this golf club he started walking everywhere

Too cute!

The other day E climbed on his chair and found the tissue box. Instead of taking it away from him I took pictures and a video with my iPad. I’m disappointed in the way the pictures turned out. They are a little too grainy for me. Anyway. Enjoy.

Painting a wall red is not easy

After 5 coats I think we are done. Next we need to remove the tape and hopefully not any paint with it. Kind of nervous but excited to be so close to being done!

We went to a splash pad with E’s cousins and he had a great time

I was soaking wet by the end of it but definitely worth it.

Today while playing with farm animals, E started copying me when I said “moo”. I tried to get it on video and every time I turned on the camera he wouldn’t say it as much.

I’m pretty sure he’s not making the connection that a cow says “moo” but he was consistently copying me when I said it. Definitely a step towards talking. Yay!

It’s so fun to watch his expressive and receptive language skills grow.

Yesterday I took E’s walking toy outside and he walked a good distance before stopping.

Tonight he practiced walking back and forth between Joey and me. So fun to watch him become more confident to take steps without the walker toy. Yay!

E loves to open and close doors. He will open the door and peek out and I say “Hi!”. He laughs and then he will close the door like he’s trying to hide. I worry about his little fingers so I stay close by and make sure the door doesn’t shut.

I am really hoping this fun “game” will result in him saying “hi”. I am getting anxious for him to learn some new words.
