Joey took these pictures of E during class last night. I love how happy E looks

E loves the fish tank at the Little Gym. During class he will usually make his way to the door and start making his fish sound like he wants to go see the fish. I remind him that we will look at the fish before we leave and bring him back to what we are supposed to be doing.

Today during class he kept making the noise he makes for fish and started sucking in the sides of his cheeks. Too funny. I tried to get a picture of it and this was the best I could get

I have had the opportunity to work with families before and/or after their child is diagnosed with Autism and for some reason when he held up the card that said “the diagnosis was the easy part”, it really made me think.

I’m not totally sure he was calling for “Dad” but I tried to make it purposeful and see if he could say “Mom”. I didn’t take the pens away because I wanted to record him being noisy. It was close to nap time so taking them away was not going to be fun.

Not the best face on E but at least he was holding still and looking at the camera.
