E started attending a toddler class at my work. I think he looks forward to seeing Teacher Corrine and playing with the other kids. Here’s a picture of him eating snack on his first day:
I occasionally get to stop and see how he’s doing. He doesn’t like it when I leave though.
I bought him a cheap backpack to take to school that was almost as big as him (as you can see in this picture)
But Grandma O bought him a Cars backpack. Before school I asked him which backpack he wanted to take and the Cars backpack won but he had to fill it with some cars first
and finally, here is a picture of E making a monster during the craft time
I can’t believe he’s big enough to go to “school”. He loves it and is learning new things every class. For example, one day E told me “I am a boy and Corrine is a girl”. I think he is getting better at interacting with peers too.
We took E to the Copper Mine and it wasn’t a huge success. He enjoyed looking at the dump trucks driving but we made the mistake of going into the visitors center. E got upset because he couldn’t hold the miniature toy cars behind the glass. He was crying and saying “get key. open. hold trucks”.
