Monday E got a haircut and he knows he doesn’t like it. On the way there he kept saying “Don’t take Eli to Cookie Cutters”. He fought us getting in the chair and tried to escape the chair multiple times. It was rough. For all three of us. As soon as the stylist took the cape off, he stopped crying and was fine.

He enjoys playing on their slide and after I took a few pictures, he said “Can you take a video?”. So here ya go:

I am looking forward to the day he will get a haircut without any problems and I won’t leave there sweating and covered in his hair.

This week we retired E’s old and very-sad-looking stuffed dog, Ike. He accepted the replacement Ike without any problems. He now calls him “New Ike”. Here’s a picture of E with new Ike (right after a bath).

I wish I would have taken a picture of the old Ike to compare.

This week our furnace officially died and it was on one of the warmest nights we’ve had so far. God is good. We were able to get a new furnace the next day and it was up and running by 5:00.
