My name is Janene and I live in Salt Lake City, Utah. I married my college sweetheart, Joey, January 1st, 2005.

I attend Southeast Baptist Church here in Salt Lake City and I am involved in a couple different ministries. My husband and I participate in the Worship Praise Team (my husband plays the drums and I play the alto sax) and I teach the two-year old Sunday School class. I participate in a woman’s bible study during the week so that I can be fed and grow in my walk with Christ.

I graduated from the University of Utah May 2007 with a Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. I work full-time for a local school district in their Early Intervention department. I really enjoy working with the young kids and their families. I also work PRN (as needed) for a local hospital on their Rehab and Acute floors. I have enjoyed maintaining my adult speech skills as well. However, it makes for some long work weeks.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family and friends. I also enjoy watching movies, reading books, shopping, cooking and spending time on the computer.

On Halloween 2007 we “adopted” a kitten and named her Pumpkin.

In August 2008, we adopted another kitten and named her Coconut or “coco” for short.
